Worth A Shot’s Indian Chapter organizes events on dengue and malaria in India.

Through our global outreach, we are working to raise awareness about the most pertinent public health issues worldwide. Recognizing that lack of education and access to information enables such diseases to continue spreading in the community, Worth a Shot takes a preventative, educational approach. Volunteers with our chapter in India are working with students in schools to talk about signs and symptoms of dengue and malaria, as well as preventive measures that can be taken. We worked with students interactively, teaching them to recognize the common signs and symptoms so they can be informed and bring the information back to their families.
